EPA（Eicosapentaenoic acid）心血管清道夫
EPA 是 Omega-3 脂肪酸的主要成份之一，具有：

抑制不正常血液凝結，預防血栓、中風的功能

有助於減少低密度脂蛋白（LDL，壞的膽固醇），增加高密度脂蛋白（HDL，好的膽固醇），協助清除附著在血管壁上的膽固醇。

降低三酸甘油脂，保持血管的彈性與柔軟度，預防動脈硬化、腦梗塞、心肌梗塞等症狀產生。兩項在丹麥Aalborg醫院針對健康者和高三酸甘油脂血症病人所做的臨床實驗發現，每天攝取兩公克以上 Omega-3 脂肪酸，可明顯降低血壓及三酸甘油脂，並延長凝血時間，足證它具有預防血栓的功能。
